May it therefore pleafe your Majefly, that it may be enafted ; and be it enacted by the King's moil Excel- lent Majefty, by and with the Advice and Coiifent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this prefent Parliament affembled, and by the Authority of the fame, That there fliall be a free and open Market held within the City or Liberty o^ Weftmiufter., for all Sorts of Corn and Grain whatfoever j and that it fliall and may be lawful for any Perfon or Perfons to buy or fell any Sot of Corn and Grain, Seed,' Malt, Pvleal and Flour, in the faid Market, without any Diflurbance or Moleltation whatfoever, heverthelefs yielding and paying fuch Sums as are herein after mentioned. II. And to the end the faid intended Market may be ere£led, eftabliflied and maintained, under fuch Rules and Regulations, as are by this Acl herein after dirciSted and prefcribed ; Be it further ena6ted by the Truftees Names. That it fliall and may be lawful to and for the faid Truftees, or any five or more of them, or any Perfon or Perfons authorized by them, to fet out Ground ' proper for holding the faid Market at fome convenient Place within the faid City or Liberty; and alfo to purchafe fuch Ground, together with any Buildings ere6led thereupon, or upon any Part thereof, and all or any Eftate, Term or Intereft, fubfifting therein, and to convert the faid Ground into a Market; in Truft nevcrthelefs, to and for the feveral Ufes, Intents and Purpofes, as are herein after declared concerning the fame. IV. And be it further ena6led by the Authority aforefuid. That it fliall and may be lawful to and for all Perfons whatfoever. Bodies Politick, Corporate or Collegiate, Corporations Aggregate or Sole, Femes Co- vert who are or fliall be feifed or interefl:ed in their own Right, Truftees and PeofFees in Truft:, Guardians and Committees for Lunaticks and Ideots, Executors, Adminiftrators and Guardians whatfoever, not only in Behalf of themfelves, their Heirs and Succeflbrs, but alfo for and in Behalf of their Ceftuique Trufts,, whether Infants or Ift"ue unborn, Lunaticks, Ideots, Femes Covert or other Perfons whatfoever, v/ho are or {hall be feifed or pofieflcd of, or intcrefted in, any Lands, A-Iefluages or Tenements, which fliall be within the Bounds and Limits fo to be fet out by the faid Truftees, as aforefaid, or any five or more of them, for the holding the faid Market thereon, to contrail for, fell, convey or furrender to the faid Truftees, or anjr five or more of them, or to any Perfon or Perfons they fliall appoint in Truft for them, all or any fuch Mefiiiages, Lands, Tenements or Hereditaments, or any Part thereof, or any Terms for Years, or any Eftate or Intercft therein; and that all fuch ContraiSls, Agreements, Bargains, Sale, Affignments, Surren* ders and other Conveyances, which fliall be fo made as aforefaid, fliaH be good and valid in Law to all In- tents and Purpofes whatfoever, not only to convey the Eftate and Intercft; of the Perfon or Perfons convey- ing, but alfo all Right, Eftate, Intereft, Ufe, Property, Claim and Demand whatfoever, of their feveral and rcfpC(£tive Cefticjue Trufts, whether Infants or Ifl'ue unborn, I^unatick?, Ideots, Femes Covert, or other Perfons whatfoever, and all Perfons claiming, or to claim, by, from or under them; any Law, Sta** tute or Ufige, to the contrary thereof in any wife notwithftanding. V. Provided always, and be it cnatSlcd by the Authority aforefaid. That all and every Sum and Sums of Money which fliall be paid by the faid Truftees, for the Purchafe of fuch Mefluages, Lands, Tcnementt and Flereditaments, or any Eftate therein, to any Perfon or Perfons whatfoever. Bodies Politick, Corporate or Collegiate, Corpora: ions Aggregate or Sole, Femes Covert, Truftees or Feoffees in Truft, Guardians of Committees for Lunaticks or Ideors, f^xeciitors, Adminiftrators or Guardians whatfoever, either as afore* faid, or in Manner herein after directed, fliall be laid out again in the Purchafe of other Mefluages, Lands, Tenements or Hereditaments, or of fuch Eftate therein, as the Vender or Venders had in the Premifles, from the Sale of which the faid Purchafe Money arofe ; and the Mcflliages, Lands, Tenements or Heredi- taments, or other the Premiflcs, which fliall be purchafed with the faid Money, fliall be fettled, conveyed and aflured, to the fame Ufcs, and ftand charged with, and be liable to, the fame Charge or Charges, as the
