XV. - XVI. And whereas the Provifion by the former Law for packing up Chocolate in Pounds, has
not been found fufficient to prevent Frauds, and the permitting the Sale of Chocolate in fmall 'Quantities not packed up and fecured in the Manner herein after diredled, has tended to encourage the clandeftine and fraudulent making and felling thereof ;' Be it further enaded by the Authority jforefaid. That all Chocolate, which from and after the fifth Day of April one thoufand feven hun- ^^^^ ^^ hi ohCcrve6 in fred and fifty-nine fhall be made in Great Britain^ fhall be packed up, and a Stamp or Mark put ?^' ^h^ "?'
