XI. And be it further enabled by the Authority aforefaid. That if any Perfon or Perfons fhall, and of unloading or - at any Time or Times after the faid twenty-fourth Day of June one thoufmd feven hundred and throwing Rubbiih, &e, fifty-nine, unload, put or throw, into the faid River T/f'^/m, any Rubbifti, Earth, Afhes, I^irt or ^j^P'^^'^^y^c into t'h«  Soil, from any Wharf, Quay or Bank, adjoining or near to the faid River Thames^ or from or out Ri^gr, 40s.' of any Barge or Lighter; any Perfon fo offending, and who fhall be thereof convifted in Manner Tjy this A(St prefcribed, fhall forfeit and pay for every fuch Offence the Sum of forty Shillings. . * XII. And, to the Intent that no greater Qiiantity of Dung, Compoft, Earth or Soil, may be ' delivered or put on board any Coafter or Collier, as or for Ballaft, than is allowed of by this A61-, ' and that if any greater Quantity thereof than v/hat is fo allowed of fhall be put on board any Coafter or Coafters, Difcovery may be made thereof;' Be it further enacted by the Authority ing or near to the faid River Thames and that all Dung, Compoft, Earth or Soil, which, after the Lighter, and from thence faid twenty-fourth Day oijune fliall, in purfuance of this A61, be delivered or put on board any delivered on board the fuch Coafter or Collier as or for Ballaft, fhall be taken from the Layftail, Wharf, Quay or other Coader or Collier. Place on Shore, whereon the fame fhall lie, and therefrom fhall be carried to every fuch Coafter or Collier, in and by fome Lighter, Barge or Veflei, which fhall be weighed, marked and numbered, as by this A61 is directed, and fhall be delivered or put on board fuch Coafter or Collier from fuch numbered and marked Lighter, Barge or Veffel only, and not in any other Manner : And if any o" Penalty of 5 1. Ptrfon or Perfons fhall oftend in the Premifles, he or they, on being thereof convicted as by this Ad: is direiled, fliall, for every fuch Offence, forfeit and pay the Sum of five Pounds ; one Moiety Application thereof,. thereof to the Informer, and the other Moiety thereof to the Treafurer or Treafurers of the faid Corporation of the Trinity Houfe., for the Ufe of the Poor of the faid Corporation. ' XIII. And whereas great Quantities of Rubbifli, Earth, Sand, Afhes, Dirt, Filth and Soil, ' are frequfenly put or thrown into the Streets, Lanes and Common Paffages, of the City of Lon-

  • Streets,^ Lanes and Common Paflages, and by Means thereof, fuch Rubbifh, Earth, Sand, Afhes,
  • Dirt, Filth or Soil, or Part thereof, are frequently carried or forced down into the faid River of
