And be it further ena<5l:ed by the Authority aforefaid, That fuch Contributors duly pay- The Monies arifmg by in reCue£t of the Sum fo fubfcribed, out oi the Monies appropriated by this A£t for Payment thereof, and (hall have good and fare Interefts and Eitates therein, according to the feveral Provifions in this A6t contained ; and that the faid Annuities fhall be free from all Taxes, Charges and Impofitions whatfoever. XXXII. Provided always, That in cafe any fuch Contributors who have already depofited with. XXXIII. And be it further ena6ted by the Authority aforefaid. That the faid A ccom ptant Accomptant General to General for the Bank of England for the Time being fhall, in a Book or Books to be provided and e'^^ ^^^'^'^^ ^°^ the Sums kept for that Purpofe, give Credit on or before the firft Day of July next to the faid refpedive Con- '^^^^^ '" ^^^ ^'"'** tributors, and their refpeftive Executors, Adminiftrators, and Alligns, for the principal Sums by ' them refpe£lively fubfcribed and paid; and the Perfons to whofe Credit fuch principal Sums fhall which may be transfer- be fo placed, their refpeflive Executors, Adminiftrators, and Affigns, fhall and may have Power to red, aflign and transfer the fame, or any Part, Share, or Proportion thereof, to any other Perfon or Per- fons, or Body or Bodies Politick or Corporate whatfoever, in other Books to be provided and kept by the faid Accomptant General for that Purpofe; and every principal Sum fo affigned and carry 4 1. per Cent, and transferred fhall, during the faid Term of twenty-one Years, carry an Annuity after the Rate intereftforzi Years; of four Pounds per Centum per Jnnum, and after the Expiration of fuch Term, inftead and in lieu 3"<J ^f'" the Expiratioa of the faid Annuity, an Annuity of three Pounds per Centum per Annum^ and fhall be taken ^'g^^*'^ ■'^"'"' ^ '• P" and deemed to be Stock transferrable according to the true Intent and Meaning of this A£l, i until Redemption thereof by Parliament, according to a Provifo herein after contained for that Purpofe. ' XXXIV. And whereas it is intended that every fuch Contributor of the Sum of one hundred Managers and Direflors ' Pounds, towards raifing the faid Sum of eight millions, fhall have, and be intitled unto an additions] of the Lottery to be ap- ' Capital of three Pounds in a Lottery Ticket ; which ^"ickets are to be prepared, and a Lottery to P"'"""^ '^y ^^^ ^"^W* ' be drawn, in manner herein after mentioned ;' Be it therefore further ena£ted by the Authority ' aforefaid. That fuch Perfons as the Commiflioners of his Majefly's Treafury, or any three or more of them now being, or the High Treafurer, or any three or more of the CommifTioners of the Trea- fury for the Time being, fhall nominate and appoint, fhall be Managers and Directors for prepa- ring and delivering out Tickets, and to overfee the Drawing of Lots, and to order, do, and perform fuch other Matters and Things as are hereafter in and by this A£t directed and appointed by fuch Managers and Directors to be done and performed ; and that fuch Managers and Directors fhall meet together, from time to time, at fome publick Office or Place for the Execution of the Powers ! and Trufts in them repofed by this ACt ; and that the faid Managers and Directors, or fo many of Method of the Lottery them as fhall be prefent at any fuch Meeting, or the major Part of them, fhall caufe Books to be Books. ,1 prepared, in which every Leaf fhall be divided or diftinguifhed into three Columns, and upon the innermoft of the faid three Columns there fhall be printed forty thoufand Tickets, Part of eighty ! thoufand Tickets by this ACt intended to be made forth, to be numbered one, two, three, and fo onwards, in an arithmetical Progreffion, where the common Excefs is to be one, until they rife to and for the Number of forty thoufand; and upon the middle Column in every of the faid Books fhall be printed forty thoufand Tickets of the fame Breadth and Form, and numbered in like Man- ner ; and in the extreme Column of the faid Books there fhall be printed a third Rank or Series of Tickets, of the fame Number with thofe of the other two Columns ; which Tickets fhall feverally be of an oblong Figure, and in the faid Books fhall be joined with oblique Lines, Flourifhes, or Devices, in fuch Manner as the faid Managers and Directors, or the major Part of them, fhall think ttiofl fafe and convenient ; and that every Ticket in the third or extreme Column of the faid Books fhall have written or printed thereupon (befides the Number of fuch Ticket, and the prefent Year of our Lord Chrifl) Words to this EfFed : 1760. « 'TpHI S Ticket will entitle the Bearer thereof to fuch beneficial Chance as fhall belong f, ^ * 1. thereto, in the Lottery to be drawn according to an ACt of Parliament pafTed in the I' W * thirty-third Year of his Majefty's Reign.'
