And it is hereby enaaed by the Authority aforefliid, l^hat if at any Time or Times it ^f/^'^^^^^J^j^'^S fliall happen, that the Produce of the faid Duties hereby granted for Payment of the faid feveral An- f.^u'd . nulties, fhall not be fufficient to pay and difcharge the feveral and rcfpeclive Annuities, and other Char- ges directed to be paid at the End of any or either of the refpe6live half-yearly Days of Payment, at which the fame are hereby directed to be paid ; then, and fo often, and in every fuch Cafe, fuch De- ficiency or Deficiencies fhall and may be fupplied out of any of the Monies which at any Time or Times fhall be or remain in the Receipt of the Exchequer of the Surplufles, Exceflbs, Overplus Monies, and other Revenues compofing the Fund commonly called The Sinking Fund, (except fuch Monies of the faid Sinking Fund as are appropriated to any particular Ufe or Ufes by any former hCc or A6ts of Parliament in that Behalf) and fuch Monies of the faid Sinking Fund fhall and may be, from Time to Time, iflued and applied accordingly ; and if at any Time or Times before any Monies of the faid Duties hereby granted Ihall be brought into the Exchequer as aforefaid, there fliall happen • to be a Want of Money for paying the feveral Annuities as aforefaid which fhall be adlually incurred and grown due at any of the hrdf-yearly Days of Payment before-mentioned, that then, and in every fuch cafe, the Money fo wanted fhall and may be fupplied out of the Monies of the Sinking Fund (except as before excepted ) and be ifiued accordingly. XXV. Provided always, and be it enabled by the Authority aforefaid. XXVI. Provided always, and be it ena6ted by the Authority aforefaid. That in cafe there fliall be Surplus Moni-s ref.^rved any Surplus or Remainder of the Monies arifing by the faid Duties hereby granted, after the laid fe- p*" .?" DiipoJitiwi of veral and refpective Annuities and Charges, and all Arrears thereof, are fatisfied, or Money fuffici- '^ '•^'"^•'^^• ent fliall be referved for that Purpofe, fuch Overplus or Remainder fliall, from Time to Time, be referved for the Difpofition of Parliament, and fhall not be ifiued but by the Authority of Parliament, and as fhall be directed by future A£i: or A£ls of Parliament ; any I'hing in any former or other Acl or Aflsof Parliament to the contrary notwithftanding. XXVII. And, for eftablifhing a proper Method for drawing the faid Lotterv, be it further enaded Managers anJ Dir?a.;-s by the Authority aforefaid. That fuch Perfons as the Commiffioners of his Majefty's Treafury, ox "' T k°^T' 'r '"^ "'" any 1 hree or more or them now bemg, or the High 1 realurer, or any tnree or more or the Commillt- oners of the Treafury for the Time being, fliall nominate or appoint, fliall be Managers and Di- reilors for preparing and delivering out Tickets, and to overfee the Drawing of Lots, and to order, do, and perform, fuch other Matters and Things as are hereafter in and by this Aft diredted and ap- pointed by fuch Managers and Direftors to be done and perform.ed; and that fuch Managers or Di- redtors fliall meet together, from Time to Time, at fome publick Office or Place for the Execution of the Powers and Trufts in them repofed by this A&. ; and that the faid Managers anJ Dircflcrs, or v^'fti'-"-cr' th?
