That Books fhall be conftantly transfer Books to u kept by the faid Accomptant General for the Time being, wherein all Affignments or Transfers of kept by the Accomptant all Sums advanced or contributed towards the faid Sum of eleven millions four hundred thoufand General. Pounds, and' alfo all Affignments or Transfers of all Sums advanced or contributed towards the faid Sum of fix hundred thoufond Pounds, fhall, at all feafonable Times, be entered and regiflered ; which Entry (hall be conceived in proper V/ords for that Purpofe, and fhall be figned by the Parties Method of transfen-irg making fuch Affignments or Transfers ; or if fuch Parties be abfcnt, by their refpeclive Attorney or^'°<^'^' Attornies thereunto lawfully authorized, in Writing under his or their Hand and Seal, or Hands and JSeals, to be attefted by two or more credible WitnefTes j and that the fcveral Perfons to whom fuch Transfers fhall be made, fhall refpe£tively underwrite their Acceptance thereof ; and that no other Method "of affigning and transferring the faid Annuities, or any Part thereof, or any Intereft therein, fhall be good or available in Law. XLVill. Provided always, and be it further enabled by the Authority aforefaid. That from the Time of o-iving Credit, as aforefaid, for the faid Annuities, after the Rate of one Pound two Shil- lings and fix Pence per Centum per y^miuw, the faid Annuities Ihall be a feparate and diftindt Stock from the faid confolidated Joint Stock of Annuities, after the Rate of three Pounds per Centum per Annum ; and feparate and difllncSl Books fliall be kept for affigning and transferring the faid Annui- ties, after the Rate of one Pound two Shillings and fix Pence per Centum per Annum; any Thing herein before contained to the contrary thereof in any wife notwithftanding. XLIX. Provided alfo, That all Perfons poilelTed of any Share or Intereft in either of the faid Annuities devrfeable by Stocks of Annuities, or any Eftate or Interell therein, may devife the fame by Will, in Writing, Will, attefied by two or more credible WitnefTes ; but that no Payment fhall be made upon any fuch De- Entry to be made of vife till lb much of the faid Will as relates to fuch Share, Eftate, or Intereft in the iaid Stocks of '"ch Clauie iu the WilJ.
