And be it enabled, That the faid Deputy Lieutenants, or any three or more of them, or Dep. Provided neverthelefs, that it fnall and may be lawful for any three Deputy Lieutenants, or a Subdivifion Meeting any two Deputy Lieutenants together with any one Juftice of the Peace, or any one Deputy Lieute- may be held, on 7 Days nant together with any two Juftices of the Peace, upon any Vacancy or Vacancies in the Militia, by Notice, for filling upVa- Death or otherwife, to appoint a Subdivifion Meeting for the filling up fuch Vacancy or Vacancies, ^"[j"^^"^^^ ^"^^ ° °' giving feven Days Notice thereof. That when any Subftitute fhall, after having been approved by any three Vacancies occafioned by Deputy Lieutenants, or by any two Deputy Lieutenants together with any one Juftice of the Peace, '^^ Death, Fromotion or by any one Deputy Lieutenant together with any two Juftices of the' Peace, and before the E^- char e^of a's'iibftinte piration of the Term for which he was to ferve, die, or be appointed a Serjeant in the Militia, or to be'^fiiied^ip as in Cafes be legally difcharged, the Perfon for whom he ferved as Subftitute fliail not be obliged to ferve him- of Death, or Difcharge felf, or to find another Subftitute ; but fuch Vacancy fhall be filled up in like manner as is direfted by °^' i'eifons ferving for this Aft, in cafe of Vacancies occafioned by the Death or Difcharge of Perfons ferving for thcmfelves. c'^^/]|{f^^ LXIL And be it enafted.
