- yy Boats commonly called Bum Boats, and other VeiTels, under Pretence of felling Liquors of
difterent Sorts; and alfo Slops, Tobacco, Brooms, Fruit, Greens, Gingerbread^ and other fuch like Ware and Things, to and amongft the Seamen and Labourers employed in and. about Ships^ Veflels, and other Craft there, do frequently take occafion to cut, damage, and fpoil the Cordage, Cables, Buoys, and Buoy Ropes, and the Headfafts and other Fafts belonging to fuchShip.s, Vef- fels, and Craft, and fraudulently carry away the fame; likev/ife encourage fuch Seamen and La- bourers to difpofe of fuch Cordage, Cables, and Buoys, and fuch Goods,, Merchandizes, Mate- ' rials, and Stores, fecretly and unlawfully, whereby great Lofies are fuftained by Meichants, and;
