Limitation of Ailions. X. And be it further enaitcd by the Authority aforefaid. That if any A<5tion fhall be brought, or Suit commenced, againft any Perfon or Perfons for any Thing done in purfuance of this Adt, or in relation to the Prcmifles, or any of them, fuch Action or Suit ftiall be laid or brought within fix Ca- lendar Months next after the Fact done, and ftiall be laid or brought in the City of London., and not Giiieral Iffjc elfcvvheie; and the Defendant or Defendants in fuch Aclion ma}' plead the General Iflue, and give th.is Act, and the Special Matter, m Evidence, at any Trial to be had thereupon, and that the fame was done in purfuance and by the Authority of this A6t : And if the fame fhall appear to have been fo done, or if any fuch Actif)n or Suit fliall not be brought within the Time before limited, or fhall be bro'ght in any other County or Place than as aforefaid, then the Jury Hiall find for the Defendant or Defendants ; or if the PlaintilYor Plaintiffs ftiall become nonfuit, or iuftcr a Difcontinuance of his, her or their Action or Actions, or if a Verdidt fhall pafs againft the Plaintiff" or Plaintiff's, the faid De- Treble Cofls. fcndant or Defendants fhall have treble Cofts, and ftiall have fuch Remedy for recovering the fame, as any Defendant or Defendants hath or have for Cofts in other Cafes by Law. 4»ul.r.ck Aft.
