Be it therefore enadted by the Authority aforefaid, That upon the Payment at any Time before the Further Time allowed Iz^DdiY oi MichaehnasTcxm one thoufand feven hundred and fixty-two, of the Duties impofed f?"" P^y'""'] of 'he Du- by Law upon, for or in refpeft of fuch Admiffions or Appoinments, unto the Perfon or Perfons AppomtmltTS'"p!r authorifed to receive fuch Duties, and the tendering fuch Admiffions or Appointments to the proper f^ng to Franchifes and Officers, in order that the Duties may be impreffed thereon ; fuch Admiffions and Appointir.ents, Offices, and all Afts done or to be done in confequence thereof, fhall be as valid and efFe6tual to all Intents and Purpofes, as if fuch Admiffions and Appointments had been ffamped, and the Duties paid, previous to, or at the Time of fuch Admiffions or Appointments, and in fuch Manner and Form as is diredled, appointed and required by the feveral Afts of Parliament relating to the faid Duties ; 1 and the refpeilive Officers of fuch Corporations and Companies, and other Perfons, fhall, from the Time of the Payment of fuch Duties refpeftively, and the Tender of fuch Admiffions and Ap- pointments for the Duties to be impofed thereon, be and are hereby freed, exonerated and dif- charged from all Penalties impofed by the faid A6ts, for or in refpedt of the Omiffion in the {tamp- ing of, and Payment of the Duties charged upon fuch refpective Admiffions and Appointments, within the Time and in the Manner directed and required by the faid A6ls, and the Commiffioners for the Time being appointed to manage the Duties payable to his Majefly, his Heirs and Succef- fors, and charged on {lamped Vellum, Parchment and Paper, and their proper Officers and Servants are hereby required and injoined to receive fuch Duties, and to caufe the Admiffions or Appoint- ments fo tendered, to be imprefTed or flamped with the proper Mark or Marks, Stamp or Stamps, ufcd for denoting the Payment of the faid Duties j any Thing in the faid A£ts contained to the con- trary notwithftanding.
