The treaty of 1826 provides for ' the most favoured nation treatment ' between the United Kingdom and France in matters of navigation, and that of 1882 (which includes Algeria), in matters of commerce, customs duties, &c. ; in i c97 the treaties in force between the United Kingdom and France were extended to include Tunis.
