whenever you are tempted to do anything that only seems to be wrong, stop and think, and pray. This is what the Bible means when it says, "Watch and pray, lest ye enter into temptation." But can children resist temptation—are they strong enough? No, not without the help of God.
A little boy called Jem Roberts, having been set to weed in a gentleman's garden, observing some very beautiful looking fruit on a tree which grew upon a wall, was strongly tempted to pluck some. "If it tastes but half as nice as it looks,"
thought he, "how delightful it must be."
