CHRIST'S RESURRECTION
Leader :
Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
Assembly:
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
Leader:
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
Assembly:
And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two
men stood by them in shining garments.
Leader:
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek the living among the dead?
Assembly
He is not here, but is risen : remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
Leader:
Saying the Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
Assembly:
And they remembered his words.
All:
And returned from the sepulchure, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.

Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God, among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know ; him being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken and by wicked hands have crucified and slain : whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death : because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
Repent ye, therefore and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
