Of the divifion of Schireffdomes. And that Tullt- alloun and Cidroffe , cum to the Schireffe rourt of Strivling on this wife , that all the perfones put now to the Juftice aire, and Schirerle courteof Strivling, pay their unlaw , baith in Schireffe court , and Juftice aire, fik-like as they payed before this union , without prejudice to them there-intil. ITEM, That the Lemzie , Loch-bard, Brimmage , Skaith-moir, Ktppane, Garden and Sea-Beg- es, quhdkwasoftheSchireffedome of T>umbartane , Terth, and Edinburgh of before , be fra this time corth, baith of Juftice aire , and Schireffe court of Strivling. IT E M , It is ftatute and ordained , for the keiping of armour and harnes, that it be not fpilt nor deftroyed in time of peace, that all Scotland mak their weapon-fchawinges upon Thurf-daymWhit-funday oulk. And that ilk officiar, as Schireffe, Baillie , Steward , oruthers, fee that this acle and ftatute be execute andkeiped. 7 6. The heretoures and aires may be followed at the zeiris end , after the deceflfe of their fore -bears : Caution Jiild be found be the executors , to the aire. ITEM, Anent the exceptions proponed be heretoures, quhen theyar perfewed for debtes of their Fa- thers , or forebears , to quhome they fucceede , allegeand that their Fathers movable gudes fold pay their debtes, and that the executours fuld be called before them : Itisadvifed, ftatute, and ordained, that it fall be leifful to the creditour to follow the aire , after the by-paffing of ane zeir. Becaufe the executors fuld berefponfalforanezeir: at the ende of the quhilk, he fuld give his compt. And gif it pleads the aire , he may, and fuld be diligent , and require the Ordinar within the faid zeir, to aske compt, and he to fee die compt, andquhat beis foundin remanent, over the things perteinand to their office, that he fuld require the Ordinar , that he micht have caution and fovertie for the relieving of his heretage , in fa far as the gudes reftis attour the compt.
