OUR SOVERAINE LORDE, and his faidis three Efiaites , lies declared , and de- claris , that the Kingis Majefties Predeceflbures , Kinges and Queenes of this Realme , were be the faidis Acles , halden of lauchfull age , at twentie ane zeires compleete : Like as OUR faid SOVE- RAINE LORD, being now of twentie ane zeires compleete, is of perfite and lauchfull age : Swa that his Hienefle, his Predeceflbures and Succeflbures , after the faid age of twentie ane zeires compleete, micht have done, and may do all thinges that thereafter ane Prince of lauchfull and perfite age, micht have done • or may do of the Law. 23 . OUR SOVERAINE LORD, now after his lauchfull and perfite age of twentie ane zeires com- pleete , with advife and confent of his Eftaites conveened in this prefent Parliament , ratifies , ap- piccvis, and for his Hienes and his Succeflburs perpetuallie confirmis , all and quhat-fumever Acles maid bee his Hienes, in the Governements of his Regentes, during hiszoungage. U R SOVERAINE LORD, and his three Eftaites conveened in this prefent Parliament , Ra- tifies and appreivis the Acles , andftatutes, maid of before , anent the punifhment of the Adverfaries oi Gods trew Religion , prefently profefled : and be lawes eftablifhed in this Realme : and the fediicers and ' perfwaders of his Hienefle obedient and faithfull fubjectes to decline theirfra. And ordainis the fame to have fuli effect, and execution in time cumming, with this addition : That quhatfoever profefled and avowed Jefaites , or SeminariePriefies , fall be fund in ony part of this Realme, within the fpace of ane Moneth aiter the publication of the Acles of this prefent Parliament : fall be taken , apprehended , called , and per- fewed , and incurre the paine of death , and confifcation of all their guddes moveable.
