144. That nane be foudin in Tavernes after nine houres.

ITEM, It is ordained, that na man in Burgh be foundin in Tavernes of wine, aill or beir, after the ſtraike of nine houres, and the bell, that ſall be rung in, in the ſaid Burgh. The quhilkis founden, the Alderman and Baillies fall put them in the Kingis priſon: The quhilk gif they do not, they ſall pay for ilk time, that they be foundin culpabill before the Chalmerlane fyftie fchillinges.

145. Byeing and ſelling of Englifh guds.

ITEM, It is ordained, that na man under the paine of eſchet bye ony Englijh claith or uther gudes, within the Kinrik of Scotland fra Engliſh-men or without. And that na Engliſh-man havand conduct, bring in and ſell, or change onie Engliſh gudes, bot gif thay gudes be ſpecified, and leave given in his ſafe conduct, ſaifand in payment of ranſome of Engliſh-men.

146. Tuitching the ſelling of Salmond till Engliſh-men.

ITEM, It is ordained, that na Scotiſ-man ſell to Engliſh-men, or in England before hand, or utherwaies ony Salmond, bot that Engliſh-men bye them in Scotland for Engliſh gold, and none uther contentation. And gih the Engliſh-men will not bye them, the Scottes merchandes may ſend them in Flaunders or uther places, quhair them thnkis: ſwa that of na wiſe they nouther ſende them nor ſell them in England, under the paine of eſcheit. And for the gude of the Merchandes, the King will grant conduct till all them that will cum and bye Salmond in Scotland.

147. That nane bye wine fra Fleminges of the Dam.

ITEM, It is ſtatute and ordained that na man of Scotland bye at Flemminges of the Dam in Scotland, onie kinde of wine, under the paine of eſcheit theirof.

148. That the Law behalden, quhair the treſpaſſe is done.

ITEM, It is ſtatute and ordained, that for ſeven zeires to cum the Kings Juſtice of baith the ſyds of the water of Forth, and als the Schireffes for treſpaſſe done out-widi Regalities and Burr owes, the ſaid Juſtice and Schireffes ſall hald the Law, quhair the treſpaſſe was done, and nouther defer to Burrowesnor Regalities theirin.

149. That nane have out of Scotland Gold, Silver, nor Jewels.

ITEM, That nane have out of Scotland Gold, Silver, nor Jewels cuinzeit, nor un-cuinzeit, under the paine of eſcheit.
