As, "He is the Cicero of his age;"--"He is reading the Lives of the Twelve Cæsars;"--or, if no particular book is meant,--"the lives of the twelve Cæsars;" (as it is in Fisk's Grammar, p. 57;) for the sentence, as it stands in Murray, is ambiguous.
