As when there peals the solemn organ-blast
Sonorous, of the deep Autumnal wind

Drowning the languid songs of Summertide!

STAR-GAZER'S SONG.

'Where lurks my foe, inimical stars?
Silver Procyon, ruby Mars?
A gem of the glittering galaxy?'
