For expenses of the Japan-United States Friendship Commission as authorized by Public Law 94-118, as amended, from the interest earned on the Japan-United States Friendship Trust Fund, $1,415,000; and an amount of Japanese currency not to exceed the equivalent of $1,700,000 based on exchange rates at the time of payment of such amounts as authorized by Public Law 94-118. LEGAL SERVICES CORPORATION PAYMENT TO THE LEGAL SERVICES CORPORATION

For payment to the Legal Services Corporation to carry out the purposes of the Legal Services Corporation Act of 1974, as amended, $308,555,000 of which $264,349,000 is for basic field programs, $7,022,000 is for Native American programs, $9,698,000 is for migrant programs, $1,100,000 is for law school clinics, $1,000,000 is for supplemental field programs, $624,000 is for regional training centers, $7,228,000 is for national support, $7,843,000 is for State support, $865,000 is for the Clearinghouse, $510,000 is for computer assisted legal research regional centers, and $8,316,000 is for Corporation management and administration. MARINE MAMMAL COMMISSION SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For necessary expenses of the Marine Mammal Commission as authorized by title II of Public Law 92-522, as amended, $953,000. OFFICE OF THE UNITED STATES TRADE REPRESENTATIVE SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For necessary expenses of the Office of the United States Trade Representative, including the hire of passenger motor vehicles and the employment of experts and consultants as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109, $15,229,000, of which $1,000,000 shall remain available until expended: Provided, That not to exceed $69,000 shall be available for official reception and representation expenses. SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For necessary expenses of the Securities and Exchange Commission, including services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109, and not to exceed $3,000 for official reception and representation expenses, $142,640,000, of which not to exceed $10,000 may be used toward funding a permanent secretariat for the International Association of Securities Commissioners.
