TITLE III—GENERAL PROVISIONS SEC. 301. DEFINITIONS.
For purposes of this Act: (1) The term "acquired immune deficiency syndrome" includes infection with the etiologic agent for such syndrome, any condition indicating that an individual is infected with such etiologic agent, and any condition arising from such etiologic agent. (2) The term "Secretary" means the Secretary of Health and Human Services. Approved October 18, 1988.
