112 STAT. 1858 PUBLIC LAW 105-245—OCT. 7, 1998 "(b) SHORT TITLE. — In further recognition of his efforts to protect wilderness resources in the State of Arkansas, this Act shall, upon enactment of this section, be known as the 'Dale Bumpers Wilderness Resources Protection Act'. Deadline. "(c) PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.—Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this section, the Secretary of Agriculture, acting through the Chief of the Forest Service, shall take such actions as may be necessary to recognize the contributions of Senator Dale Bumpers to the preservation of wilderness in the State of Arkansas. Such actions shall include, but not be limited to, appropriate signs and other materials, commemorative markers, maps, interpretive programs or other means as will adequately inform the public of the efforts of Senator Bumpers to preserve and protect National Forest wilderness areas in the State of Arkansas.". This Act may be cited as the "Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act, 1999". Approved October 7, 1998.
