113 STAT. 778 PUBLIC LAW 106-65—OCT. 5, 1999 SEC. 1107. WORK SCHEDULES AND PREMIUM PAY OF SERVICE ACADEMY FACULTY. (a) UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY.— Section 4338 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection (c): "(c) The Secretary of the Army may, notwithstanding the provisions of subchapter V of chapter 55 of title 5 or section 6101 of such title, prescribe for persons employed under this section the following: "(1) The work schedule, including hours of work and tours of duty, set forth with such specificity and other characteristics as the Secretary determines appropriate. "(2) Any premium pay or compensatory time off for hours of work or tours of duty in excess of the regularly scheduled hours or tours of duty.". (b) UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY.— Section 6952 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by— (1) redesignating subsection (c) as subsection (d); and (2) inserting after subsection (b) the following new subsection (c): "(c) The Secretary of the Navy may, notwithstanding the provisions of subchapter V of chapter 55 of title 5 or section 6101 of such title, prescribe for persons employed under this section the following: "(1) The work schedule, including hours of work and tours of duty, set forth with such specificity and other characteristics as the Secretary determines appropriate. "(2) Any premium pay or compensatory time off for hours of work or tours of duty in excess of the regularly scheduled hours or tours of duty.". (c) UNITED STATES AIR FORCE ACADEMY.— Section 9338 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection (c): "(c) The Secretary of the Air Force may, notwithstanding the provisions of subchapter V of chapter 55 of title 5 or section 6101 of such title, prescribe for persons employed under this section the following: "(1) The work schedule, including hours of work and tours of duty, set forth with such specificity and other characteristics as the Secretary determines appropriate. "(2) Any premium pay or compensatory time off for hours of work or tours of duty in excess of the regularly scheduled hours or tours of duty.". SEC. 1108. SALARY SCHEDULES AND RELATED BENEFITS FOR FAC- ULTY AND STAFF OF THE UNIFORMED SERVICES UNIVER- SITY OF THE HEALTH SCIENCES. Section 2113(f) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following: "(3) The limitations in section 5373 of title 5 do not apply to the authority of the Secretary under paragraph (1) to prescribe salary schedules and other related benefits.".
