EXTENSION OF OTHER BONUS AND SPECIAL PAY AUTHORITIES.
(a) AVIATION OFFICER RETENTION BONUS.—Section 301b(a) of title 37, United States Code, is amended by striking ‘‘December 31, 2005’’ and inserting ‘‘December 31, 2006’’. (b) ASSIGNMENT INCENTIVE PAY.—Section 307a(f) of such title is amended by striking ‘‘December 31, 2006’’ and inserting ‘‘December 31, 2007’’. (c) REENLISTMENT BONUS FOR ACTIVE MEMBERS.—Section 308(g) of such title is amended by striking ‘‘December 31, 2005’’ and inserting ‘‘December 31, 2006’’. (d) ENLISTMENT BONUS FOR ACTIVE MEMBERS.—Section 309(e) of such title is amended by striking ‘‘December 31, 2005’’ and inserting ‘‘December 31, 2006’’. (e) RETENTION BONUS FOR MEMBERS WITH CRITICAL MILITARY SKILLS.—Section 323(i) of such title is amended by striking ‘‘December 31, 2005’’ and inserting ‘‘December 31, 2006’’. (f) ACCESSION BONUS FOR NEW OFFICERS IN CRITICAL SKILLS.— Section 324(g) of such title is amended by striking ‘‘December 31, 2005’’ and inserting ‘‘December 31, 2006’’. SEC. 625. ELIGIBILITY OF ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEONS FOR INCENTIVE SPECIAL PAY.
(a) ELIGIBILITY.—Subsection (a) of section 302b of title 37, United States Code, is amended— (1) in the subsection heading, by striking ‘‘AND BOARD CERTIFICATION’’ and inserting ‘‘BOARD CERTIFICATION, AND INCENTIVE’’; and (2) by adding at the end the following new paragraph: ‘‘(6) An officer described in paragraph (1) who is an oral or maxillofacial surgeon may be paid incentive special pay at the same rates, and subject to the same terms and conditions, as incentive special pay available for medical officers under section 302(b) of this title.’’. (b) CONFORMING AMENDMENTS.—Such section is further amended in subsections (b) and (d) by striking ‘‘subsection (a)(4)’’ each place it appears and inserting ‘‘paragraph (4) or (6) of subsection (a)’’. SEC. 626. ELIGIBILITY OF DENTAL OFFICERS FOR ADDITIONAL SPECIAL PAY.
Section 302b(a)(4) of title 37, United States Code, is amended in the first sentence— (1) by inserting ‘‘also’’ before ‘‘is entitled’’; and (2) by inserting ‘‘initial’’ before ‘‘residency’’.
