Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Re5>·resentattvesV`;>f the United States of America in Congress assemble ., That the yan- WgMmTg dotte County Bridge and Terminal Railway Comspany, a corporation Euwsymdompsny duly created and existing under the laws of the tate of Kansas, and y7¥u_b¤*;*t¤°¤¤¤¤¤¤·¤|I, its successors, be, and they are hereby, authorized to construct and xm? maintain a bridge and approaches thereto over the Missouri River at the most accessi le point, to be selected by it or them, within one mile above or below the town of guindaro, in the county of Wyandotte and State of Kansas. Said ridge shall be constructed to provide for the' passage of railway trains, and, at the option of said Railway; ugon, company, or 1bS successors, said bridge may be so constructed or °“°’°°"' "'°8’· maintained that passage may be acco ed to wagons and vehicles of all kinds, and for the transit of animals and for foot-passengers, under such reasonable rules and regulations as may be prescribed by said corporation, or its successors, and be approved from time to time by the Secretary of War, Sec. 2 That any bridge built under this act and subject to its “1&¤wf¤1 grucvure limitations shall be a lawful structure, and shall be recognized and ’°""`°“ ‘ known as a poste-route, upon which also no higher charge shall be made for the transmission over the same of the mails, the troo s, and the munitions of war of the United States, or forlpassengers and Freight passing over said bridge, than the rate per m' e paid for the transortation over the railroad or public h ghways eading to the said bridge; and it shall enjoy the rights and privileges o other postroads in the United States.
