Ballard, probate judge for said county, in trust for the use and benefit of the inhabitants of the town of Chelan, in said county, under the town-site laws, being cash entry numbered one thousand and sixty-four of said North Yakima series of entries. Sec. 2. That in addition to any lands heretofore granted to the Lick D¤¤¤*iP*1°¤· Observatory of the astronomical department of the University of California, so much of said land as is not already granted or disposed of by the United States, to wit, the northwest quarter of section three, the east half of section four, the northwest quarter of section four, the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section four, be, and the same is hereby, granted to the regents of the University of California, and their successors, in trust, for the use and benetit of the astronomical department of the University of California: Provided, That if the Promoland herein granted shall be used for any other purpose than the site of R¤*¤¤¤i·>¤ said observatory and the necessary urposes in connection therewith, the same shall revert to the United States.
