Booth, deceased, late melter and i reiiner of the Mint of the United States at Philadelphia, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated. the sum of one thousand eight hundred and forty-one dollars and eightyseven cents, in full ibr the cost value of one thousand nine hundred and eighty ounces and twelve one-hundredths of a11 ounce of silver bullion. of standard iineness, deposited by him with the Superintendent of the Mint at Philadelphia to make good a deficiency of that amount of bullion in the accounts of the Mint for the tiscal year eighteen hundred and eighty-five, the same being the number of ounces of standard Silver bullion contained in three bars missing from said Mint, supposed to have been stolen while in the charge of the melter and reiiner, but for which safe storage could not be provided for want of vault capacity in the Mint.
