Roebuck, late quartermaster’s employee, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Approved, February 22, 1895. CHAP. 126.-An Act Granting a·pension to Richard R. Knight. February 22, 1895. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the §i¤¤e¤i R K¤*s=M- Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the °°"°"` pension roll the name of Richard B. Knight, son of Philip T. Knight, alias Patrick Reardon, late of Company B, Thirty-first Regiment Massa- · chusetts Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pen ion subject to the provisions and limitations of the Act approved June twenty-seventh, V<>¤}¤· v-182 eighteen hundred and ninety: Provided, That, if any pension be allowed under the general laws on account of the above-named soldier, pension under this Act shall cease. Edwards, late the postmaster at Prattville, in the State of Alabama, with the Post-Office Department of the Government of the United States, the same being the amount of money received by said Edwards as said postma ter and transmitted by him to the postmaster at Montgomery, in the said State, and which was lost in transit between said places without fault on the part of said Edwards.
