Passed the Senate, March 2, 1895. CHICKAMAUGA PARK. Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That Much 2·1895¤ the Congress will participate in the dedication of the Chiekamauga and onscimmaum and Chattanooga National Military Pars: on September nineteenth and twen- C’§‘}§§‘,Q‘g‘;§{‘°E’§k, or tieth next, through the presiding officers of the respective Houses; participating in dedithe Joint Committee on Park Dedication; such Senators and Repre-°““°" °°'°"’°“"’“‘ sentatives as served in the campaign for Chattanooga, such as may be named by the presiding officers of the respective Houses as representatives of other armies and the Navy, or as speakers to represent Congress at the dedicatory exercises. The Sergeant-at-Arms of the Senate is hereby directed to make suitable arrangements for such participation, the expense of the same not to exceed ive thousand dollars. to be equally divided and paid out of the fund of twenty thousand dollars appropriated by act of Congress approved December fifteenth, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, to be audited and paid by the Secretary of War upon certificates signed by the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Senate, and said sum as aforesaid is hereby made available for said purpose; and a report of the dedicatory exercises shall be made to Congress by the Joint Committee on Park Dedication.
