For pay of physician, New York Agency, six hundred dollars. mf*<;Y.Y¤*k As¤¤¤i~ To enable the President to cause, under the provisions of the Act of ,5,0::;,s February eighth, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, entitled “An Act v¤1.24.p.zséa to provide for the allotment of lands in severalty to Indians," such Indian reservations as in his judgment are advantageous for agricultural and grazing purposes to be surveyed, or resurveyed, for the purposes of said Act, and to‘complete the allotment of the same, including the necessary clerical work incident thereto in the field and in the office of Indian Affairs, and delivery of trust patents, so tar as allot ments shall have been selected imder said Act, thirty thousand dollars: Provided, That hereafter whenever it shall be made to appear to the pr.,;,,,, Secretary of the Interior that by reason of age or disability any allottee ‘·°°·°¤- of Indian lands under this or former Acts of Congress can not personally and with benefit to himself occupy or improve his allotment or any part thereof the same may be leased, in the discretion of the Secretary, upon such terms, regulations, and conditions as shall be prescribed by him, for a term not exceeding three years for tarming or grazing pur¢ poses, or five years for mining or business purposes.
