Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United £§$§f·°"'· States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll the name of Foster C. Carl, Company I, First Regiment of New York Mounted Rifles, and pay him a pension at the rate of eighteen dollars per month. Approved, July 7, 1898. CHAP. 631.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Mary E. Walker.

 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United

States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll the name of Mary E. Walker, late an acting assistant or contract surgeon in the United States Army, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. Approved, July 7, 1898.

CHAP. 632.-An Act Granting a pension to Matilda Waedel. J -1.1m. -——H——;- Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Q.‘•j£*,§;_w“°‘°l- Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place upon the pension roll the name of Matilda Waedel, widow of Ferdinand Waedel, late private of Company H, Thirty-fifth Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month. » Approved, July 7, 1898. CHAP. 633.-An Act For the relief of John C. Coleman, of Emanuel County, - July 7, ms. G¤°¥gi¤·- Whereas John C. Coleman, one of the sureties of Chesley Faircloth, p,.,.mb;,_ on his bond as mail contractor, paid to the United States the sum of three hundred and forty-three dollars and fifty- eight cents, on a judgment obtained against the said Faircloth and his sureties, which judgment should have been credited with the sum of one hundred and sixteen dollars and thirty-nine cents, and which said judgment was duly assigned by the United States to the said John C. Coleman, and whereas the said Faircloth is dead, and his estate is insolvent: Thereibre, Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the _;,,],,, C_c.,;,,,,,,,_ Treasury shall pay to the said John C. Coleman the said sum of one P•v¤·¤¤**·°· hundred and sixteen dollars and thirty-nine cents, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, July 7, 1898.
