Kl11g· [Pnvnte`50`511.] Be it enacted by the Senate and House Of.R€])T68€%bdb2·®68 of the United §j’,§,g°,_}lé,,I‘fQ,’;§·,,y States 0_fAmere'ca in Congress assembled, That the following real estate, reieuewdp from ¤1i¤¤i to wit, parts of lots two hundred and twentveight and two hundred tiriituitiiiaighiunt and twenty-nine, in square twelve hundred and ninety, in the city of ·lvVashington, District of Columbia, described as follows: Beginning for the Same at a point on the east side of Thirty-fourth street eight feet north of the dividing line between said lots and running thence south on Thirty-fourth street twenty-four feet; thence east parallel with T Street ninety-six feet to the rear line of said lot; thence north with said rear line twenty-four feet, and thence west to thpvplace of beginning, heretofore purchased and conveyed to George . King, of the city of Washington, District of Columbia, be relieved and V°'·2‘*· P- *76- exempted from the operation of an Act entitled "An Act to restrict the ownership of real estate in the Territories to American citizens," ‘ approved March third, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, and all forfeitures incurred- by force of said Act, by reason of the alienage of one Patrick Mahon, a former owner of said real estate, are hereby remitted. April 29. 1902- CHAP. 648.-An ,Act Granting an increase of pension to Justus Canfield. · [Pm8m M` M`] Be it enacted by the Senate and House 0_fR esentatives of the United ·{,‘£S{gl§Qg§$;Qéed States 0_fAmerica in Ocngress assembled, Tgtt the Secretary of the ` Iuteriorbe, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension aws, the name of Justus Canfield, late of Company B, Second Regiment Iowa Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
