Aarrcms XVII1.—1'n fm. — The present Convention shall take effect when duly signed, and shall m,P.'f““°“°’°°“'°“‘ be considered as in force from the first day of Ju y, 1901, and shall remain in force until one year after one of the two contracting rties shall have notified the other of its intention to terminate it.
