1724 CHAP. 27.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to William S. Devlin.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of William S. Devlin, late of United States ships Savannah, Pensacola, and Tennessee, United States Navy, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

CHAP. 28.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Charles L. Houghton.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Charles L. Houghton, late of Company D, Third Regiment Michigan Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

CHAP. 29.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Emily M. J. Cooley.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Emily M. J. Cooley, widow of Rufus Cooley, late of Company F, Thirty-ninth Regiment, and chaplain Forty-seventh Regiment, Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

CHAP. 30.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Isabella Chivington.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Isabella Chivington, widow of John M. Chivington, late colonel First Regiment Colorado Volunteer Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of seventeen dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.
