WHEREAS, it appears that the public good will be romoted b Mmm N°°i°¤¤* adding to the Arkansas National Forest certain land;) within th5eF£`ii1:I State of Arkansas, which are in art covered with timber; ‘°'°""°m‘ Now, therefore, I, Theodore Boosevelt, President of the United $g,_'¤;,*;,'°¤,,6°¤'°'¢°d· States of America, by virtue of the power in me vested by the Act of ` Congress, ag>roved June fourth, eighteen hundred and nmety-seven, entitled, “Act Making appropriations for sundry civil expenses of the Government for the fiscal ear ending June thirtieth, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, and for other purposes," do proclaim that the Arkansas National Forest is hereby enlarged and that its boundaries are as shown on the dia am forming a part hereof.
