That after copyright has been secured by publication D@‘°""°°°¤"“ of the work with the notice of copyright as provided in section nine ”%°£iS:lw·4959.p·¤58. of this Act, there shall be promptly deposited m the copyr$ht office or °m ‘ in the mail addressed to the register of co yrights, ashington, District of Columbia, two complete copies of the best edition thereof then published, or if the wor is by an author who is a citizen or 0n; ¤¤1{1gf1{gr§¤_g§ subject of a foreign state or nation and has been published in a {ages.
