The governor shall reside in Porto Rico during his official incumbency and maintain his office at the seat of vernment. He shall have P°*¤ •¤* ••¤¤¤·¤- general supervision and control of all tig departments and bureaus mn of the government in Porto Rico, so far as is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, and shall be commander in chief of the militia.
