Lands conveyed to the United States under this Act shall, upon acceptance of title, become subject to the provisions of said Act of March 29, 1928 . Approved, March 1, 1929 . CHAP . 431 .-An Act To extend the times for commencing and completing the construction of a bridge across the Missouri River at or near Randolph, Missouri . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the times for commencing and completing the construction of the bridge authorized by the Act of Congress approved May 24, 1928, to be built by The Kansas City Southern Railway Company across the Missouri River at or near a point approximately one mile southeast of Randolph, Missouri, are hereby extended one and three years, respectively, from May 24, 1929 . Cannelm ton Ind dge, a Bridge Company, its successors and assigns, be and are hereby authorized to construct, maintain, and operate a bridg e and appro aches theret o acro ss the Ohio River, at a p oint s uitabl e to t he interests of navigation, at or near Cannelton, Perry County, Indiana, constructionj in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled "An Act to Vol.34,p.84. regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters," approved March 23, 1906, and subject to the conditions and limitations con- tained in this Act . SEC . 2. There is hereby conferred upon Hawesville and Cannelton Right to acquire real Bridge Company, its successors' and assigns, all such rights and estate, c approaches, for locat ion, proac hes, et . power s to e nter u pon la nds an d to a cquire, conde mn, oc cupy, posses s, and use real estate and other property needed for the location, con- struction, operation, and maintenance of such bridge and its ap- proaches as are possessed by railroad corporations for railroad purposes or by bridge corporations for bridge purposes in the State in which such real estate or other property is situated, upon making just compensation therefor, to be ascertained and paid according to the laws of such State, and the proceedings therefor shall be the same Condem nation pro - as in the condemnation or expropriation of property for public ceedings . purposes in such State.
