Buildings for which appropriation shall be available for use in connection with all available . public buildings under the control of the Treasury Depar tment, including the customhouse in the District of Columbia, but not including any other public building within the District of Colum- bia, and exclusive of marine hospitals, quarantine stations, mints, branch mints, and assay offices .

Furniture, etc. Furniture and repairs of furniture : For furniture, carpets, and repairs of same, for completed and occupied public buildings under the control of the Treasury Department, exclusive of marine hos- pitals, quarantine stations, mints, branch mints, and assay offices, and for gas and electric lighting fixtures and repairs of same for complet ed and occupi ed public buil dings under t he control of the Treasury Department, including marine hospitals and quarantine stations, but exclusive of mints, branch mints, and assay offices, and Buildings excluded . for furniture and carpets for public buildings and extension of pub- lic buildings in course of construction which are to remain under the custody and control of the Treasury Department, exclusive of marine hospitals, quarantine stations, mints, branch mints, and assay offices, and buildings constructed for other executive depart- men ts or establ ishmen ts of the G overnm ent, $990,000 : Prov ided, Provisos .
