ARMS, UNI FORMS, E QUIPMENT, AND SO FORTS, FOR FIELD SERVICE, NATIONAL GUARD To procure by purchase or manufacture and issue from time to time to the National Guard, upon requisition of the governors of the several States and Territories or the commanding general, National Guard of the District of Columbia, such military equipment and stores of all kinds and reserve supply thereof (not to exceed $1000 000 for ammunition) as are necessary to arm, uniform, and equip for Aeld service the National Guard of the several States, Territories, and the District of Columbia, and to repair such of the aforementioned articles of equipage and military stores as are or may become dam- aged when, under regulations prescribed by the Secretary of War, such repair may be determined to be an economical measure and as necessary for thei r proper preservat ion and u se, $4,52 3,806, of which not to exceed $775,075 shall be available for the production and purchase of new airplanes and their equipment, spare parts and accessories, and all of the sums appropriated in this Act on account of the National Guard shall be accounted for as one fund : Provided, That funds now and herei n mad e av ailab le to the Mili tia B ureau may be used f or the purch ase of motor -propel led tr ucks, includ ing station wagon types, for field-artillery use of the National Guard, at a cost of not to exceed $750 per vehicle : Provided further, That the Secretary of War is hereby authorized to issue surplus or reserve stores and material on hand and purchased for the United States Army such articles of clothing and equipment and Field Artillery, Engineer, and Signal material and ammunition as may be needed by the National Guard organized under the provisions of the Act en titled "An A ct for makin g furth er and more effect ual provision for the national defense, and for o ther purp oses," ap proved June 3, 1916 (U . S. C ., title 32, sec . 21), as amended . This issue shall be made without charge against militia appropriations except for actual expenses incident to such issue . No appropriation contained in this Act shall be available for any expense for or on account of a larger number of mounted and medical units, and motor transport, military police, wagon and service com- panies of the Nati onal Guar d than we re in exi stence on June 30, 1932 . ORGANIZED RESERVES For pay and allowances of members of the Officers' Reserve Corps on active duty in accordance with law ; mileage, reimbursement of actual traveling expenses, or per diem allowances in lieu thereof, as aut horize d law : Provided That, the milea ge a llowa nce t o members of the Officers' Reserve Florps when called, into active service for training for fifteen days or less shall not exceed 4 cents per mile ; pay, transportation, subsistence, clothing, and medical and hospital treatment of members of the Enlisted Reserve Corps ; conducting corres ponden ce or extens ion co urses for ins tructi on of member s of the Reserve Corps, including necessary supplies, procurement of maps and textbooks, and transportation and traveling expenses of employees ; purchase of training manuals, including Government publications and blank forms, subscriptions to magazines and period- icals of a professional or technical nature ; establishment, mainte- nance, and„operation of divisional and regimental headquarters and of camps for training of the Organized Reserves ; for miscellaneous expenses incident to the administration of the Organized Reserves,
