For an additional amount to be added to the appropriation of $2,500,0 00 contained in the Interior Department Appr opriation Act, fiscal year 1936, for the establishment of a revolving fund for the purpose of making loans to Indian chartered corporations, in accord- ance with the Act of June 18, 1934 (48 Stat ., p . 986), $980,000, of whic h amount not to exceed $65,000 shall be avai lable for perso nal services in the District of Columbia and in the field, for purchase of equipment and supplies, and for other necessary expenses of administering such loans . For the development of Indian arts and crafts, as authorized by the Act of August 27, 1935 (49 Stat ., p . 891), including personal serv ices, purchase of equipment an d supplies, no t to exceed $2, 500 for printing and binding, and other necessary expenses, to be imme- diately available, $42,500, of which not to exceed $18,000 shall be avai lable for pe rsonal servic es in the Di strict of Co lumbia : Pr ovi de d, That no part of thi s appropriation shall be used to pay any sal ary at a rate exceeding $7,500 per annum . DEVELO PMENT OF W ATER SUPPL Y Developing water supply : For developing and conserving Water for domestic and stock purposes on lands of the Navajo and Hopi Indians in Arizona and New Mexico, the Papago Indians in Ari- zona , and the Puebl o Indians of Ne w Mexico, incl uding the purch ase and inst allation of pum ping machinery , and other nec essary equip- ment, and for operation and maintenance thereof, $70,000.
