an amount equal to the aggregate of the amounts paid by him, or withheld from sums otherwise due him, in complete or partial satisfaction of the liability to the United States specified in the first section: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved May 13, 1960.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Doctor Deh Chang Tao (A-6980049) shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of September 10, 1948. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That (a), notwith- Alice Anderson, standing the expiration of the period prescribed by Puolic Law 615, Eighty-third Congress (68 Stat. 759), for the settlement of claims authorized under subsection (e) of section 6 of the W a r Claims Act 2005 ^^^ ^'^^' of 1948, as amended, the Foreign Claims Settlement Commission of the United States is authorized and directed to determine the validity and amount of the claim (numbered K-255882) of Mrs. Alice Anderson as surviving mother of Orvill F. Linebaugh, deceased. (b) Any award made by the Foreign Claims Settlement Commission of the United States with respect to such claims shall be certified to the Secretary of the Treasury for payment, in accordance with applicable provisions of the W a r Claims Act of 1948, as ^^so u s e App. amended, out of any money in the Treasury of the United States not 2001 ""*" ^""' note. otherwise appropriated. SEC. 2. There is hereby authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary for the payment of any award or awards that may be certified by the Foreign Claims Settlement Commission of the United States pursuant to this Act, including amounts required by such Commission and the Secretary of the Treasury for the payment of their respective administrative expenses in connection therewith.
