Arkansas. Real property, release of restrictions.

Effective date.

AN ACT To provide for the release of restrictions and reservations on certain real property heretofore conveyed to the State of Arkansas by the United States of America.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That subject to the provisions of section 2 of this Act the Secretary of the Army is authorized to convey, quitclaim, or release to the State of Arkansas, all rights, reservations, restrictions, and exceptions reserved by the United States in and over that part of Camp Joseph T. Robinson which was conveyed to the State of Arkansas by deed executed by the Secretary of the Army on August 25, 1950, pursuant to the Act approved June 30, 1950 (64 Stat. 310), insofar as these rights, reservations, restrictions, and exceptions pertain to that parcel of land in Pulaski County, Arkansas, described in a lease-purchase agreement dated February 10, 1959, entered into between the Arkansas National Guard and the State board of education. State of Arkansas, containing nine and eighttenths acres, more or less. SEC. 2. The first section of this Act shall take effect upon the payment by the State of Arkansas to the Secretary of the Army oi the fair market value of the fee simple title of the property described therein (but not including any buildings or other permanent improvements placed on such property by the Arkansas State Board of Education), as such value is determined by the Secretary after appraisal. To amend section 7 of the Administrative Expenses Act of 1&46, as amended.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That subsection (b) of section 7 of the Administrative Expenses Act of 1946 (60 Stat. 808, as amended; 5 U.S.C. 73b-3(b)) is amended by deleting the word "promoted" wherever it appears and substituting the word "assigned", and by deleting the word "promotion" wherever it appears and substituting the word "assignment". Nevada. 100th anniversary medals.

AN ACT To provide for the striking of medals in commemoration of the one hundredth anniversary of the admission of Nevada to statehood.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, in the commemoration of the one hundredth anniversary of the admission of Nevada to statehood, the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to strike and furnish to the Nevada Centennial Commission not more than twenty thousand medals with suitable emblems, devices, and inscriptions to be determined by the Nevada Centennial Commission subject to the approval of the Secretary of the Treasury.
