Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Vnited States of America, in Congress assembled. That the Secretary jesse Leigh, jr. of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $290 to Jesse C. Leigh, Junior, 40 North Main Street, Hamlet, North Carolina, in full settlement of his claims against the United States resulting from an accident on August 5, 1961, when an Army truck collided with his private car operated by his son in Hamlet, North Carolina. This claim is not cognizable under the Federal Tort (^laim Act: 28 USC 26?iProvided, That no part of the amount appropriated by this Act ^eso. shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim or for any subrogated claim. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Vnited States of America in Congi'ess assemMed^ That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $502.33, to Mr. Rudolph Sanderson, Meriden, Kansas, in full settlement of his claim against the United States for the reimbursement of the amount of expenses and other losses and damages incurred in resettlement as a result of his displacement in connection with the acquisition of land (tract numbered M-1388) due to the construction of Tuttle Creek Dam and Reservoir project, Kansas. No part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved December 30, 1963.
