Whereas the Congress wishes to lend support to the rekindling of the American spirit of patriotism and respect for the individual liberties that made America great; and Whereas the Congress wishes to underscore the fact that though Americans face problems as individuals and as a nation they are proud of their country and welcome the opportunity to honor America: Now, therefore, be it Resolved by the House of Representatives {the Senate concurring) ^ That Congress recognizes the importance of the July 4, 1970, Honor America Day celebrations and calls upon the people of the United States to observe such celebrations with appropriate ceremonies and activities. Resolved by the Senate {the House of Representatives concurring), That in the enrollment of the bill (S. 2601), to reorganize the courts of the District of Columbia, to revise the procedures for handling juveniles in the District of Columbia, to codify title 23 of the District of Columbia Code, and for other purposes, the Secretary of the Senate ^"^^' P- '^^• shall make the following corrections: (1) In W\& third sentence of the proposed section ll-1527(a)(3) of the District of Columbia Code (as contained in section 111 of the bill), strike out subsections (a) and (b) and insert in lieu thereof "subsection (a) or (b)
