GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STUDY ON THE RELOCATION OF THE GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE

For expenses necessary to prepare a detailed environmental impact statement for the Government Printing Office, $300,000, to remain available until expended, and to be available for transfer to the General Services Administration. CHAPTER IV ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION OPERATING EXPENSES

For an additional amount for "Operating expenses", $25,500,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That this appropriation shall be available only upon the enactment into law of authorizing legislation. PLANT AND CAPITAL EQUIPMENT

Notwithstanding the last proviso under this head in the Public Works for Water and Power Development and Atomic Energy Commission Appropriation Act, 1975 (Public Law 93-393), the Secretary of the Interior, following the entry of a final order by the United States District Court for the District of Nevada in the case designated as "Truckee-Carson Irrigation District v. Secretary of the Interior", Civil Action No. R-74-34, B R T, filed March 18, 1974, now pending in said court, determining that the Secretary may assume control of the Newlands Reclamation Project, Nevada, may utilize not to exceed $1,000,000 of the funds appropriated under such head for the operation of the Newlands Reclamation Project, Nevada.
