Public Law 96-67 96th Congress An Act To amend the International Development and Food Assistance Act of 1978 and the Foreign Assistance and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 1979 by striking out certain prohibitions relating to Uganda, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That (a) the Interna- International tional Development and Food Assistance Act of 1978 (Public Law Development and Food 95-424) is amended— Assistance Act (1) in the section heading of section 602, by striking out of 1978, "UGANDA,"; and

(2) in section 602, by striking out "Uganda,". (b) Section 108 of the Foreign Assistance and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 1979 (Public Law 95-481), is amended by striking out all that follows after ^'Provided, however," and inserting in lieu thereof the following: "That such prohibition with respect to Uganda shall apply only to funds appropriated or otherwise made available pursuant to this Act to carry out the Arms Export Control Act or part 22 USC 2751 II of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 (other than funds appropri- note. ated or otherwise made available to carry out chapter 4 of part II of 22 USC 2161. such Act).". SEC. 2. (a) Subsection (a) and subsections (c) through (e) of section 5 of the Act entitled "An Act to amend the Bretton Woods Agreements Act to authorize the United States to participate in the Supplementary Financing Facility of the International Monetary Fund", approved on October 10, 1978 (Public Law 95-435), are repealed. 92 Stat. 1052. (b) Subsection (m) of section 4 of the Export Administration Act of 22 USC 2151 1969 (as added by section 5(d) of the Act entitled "An Act to amend note. the Bretton Woods Agreements Act to authorize the United States to participate in the Supplementary Financing Facility of the International Monetary Fund", approved on October 10, 1978 (Public Law 50 USC app. 95-435)) is repealed. 2403.
