Jan. 14, 1983 [H.J. Res. 635] Budget and Economic Reports, transmittal to Congress.

Establishing the dates for submission of the Budget and Economic Report.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That (a) notwithstanding the provisions of section 1105 of title 31, United States Code, the President shall transmit to the Congress not later than January 31, 1983, the budget for the fiscal year 1984, and (b) notwithstanding the provisions of section 3 of the Act of February 20, 1946, as amended (15 U.S.C. section 1022) the President shall transmit to the Congress not later than January 31, 1983, the Economic Report. SEC. 2. That (a) notwithstanding the provisions of section 1109(a) of title 31, United States Oxie, the President shall submit to the Senate and the House of Representatives the estimates required to be submitted by said subsection for the fiscal year 1984 not later than the date on which the President transmits to the Congress the budget for the fiscal year 1984, and (b) notwithstanding the provisions of section 1109(b) of title 31, United States Code, the Joint Economic Conmuttee shall submit to the Committees on the Budget of both Houses the evaluation required to be submitted by said subsection for the fiscal year 1984 not later than the date on which the report for the fiscal year 1984 pursuant to section 5(b)(3) of the Employment Act of 1946 (15 U.S.C. 1024b) is filed with the Senate and House of Representatives.
