PRIVATE LAW 97-23—JUNE 1, 1982 (b) There is reserved to the United States all oil, coal, or other minerals in the land referred to in the first section of this Act, together with the right to prospect for, mine, and remove such oil, coal, or other minerals under such rules and regulations as the Secretary of the Interior may prescribe. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, notwithstanding the provisions of title VI, section 602, of the International Claims Act of 1949, as amended, to provide for the determination of the validity and amounts of claims of nationals of the United States against the German Democratic Republic, that the Chairman of the Foreign Claims Settlement Commission or his authorized agents or representatives, is hereby authorized and directed to receive and reconsider the claim submitted by Mrs. Frieda Simonson, Jamaica, New York, and to authorize the grant of any award to which she is entitled. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Staff Sergeant Anne M. Fisher, United States Army Reserve, SSN 550-76-1260, 308 Van Buren, apartment lA, Jackson, Michigan 49201, the sum of $7,310.10, in full satisfaction of her claim against the United States for reimbursement of medical care expenses incurred by her in 1978 and 1979 while serving on active military duty. No part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or
