INCREASING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR OLDER AMERICANS (COMMUNITY SERVICE EMPLOYMENT FOR OLDER AMERICANS) For an additional amount to carry out the activities for national grants or contracts with public agencies and public or private nonprofit organizations under paragraph (1)(A) of section 506(a) of title V of the Older Americans Act of 1965, as amended, $29,250,000. For an additional amount to carry out the activities for grants to States under paragraph (3) of section 506(a) of title V of the Older Americans Act of 1965, as amended, $8,250,000. 42 USC 3041e. INCREASING ESSENTIAL COMMUNITY AND HOME HEALTH SERVICES (HEALTH SERVICES) To expand the availability of essential health care services for the disadvantaged and unemployed, including those in rural towns and villages, an additional $70,000,000 for 'TIealth Services", Depart- ment of Health and Human Services, for carrying out titles III and XIX of the Public Health Service Act with respect to community and migrant health centers: Provided, That $5,000,000 shall be for the provision of home health services at such centers and $5,000,000 shall be for carrying out section 339 of the Public Health Service Act relating to home health care services and training: Provided further. That each center may apply up to 20 per centum of these funds provided to the center for the purchase (at rates not exceeding those prevailing under the applicable State plan approved under title XIX of the Social Security Act) of inpatient hospital services for delivery 42 USC 1396 and post partum care to pregnant women and infants who have no other source of payment for the care. 42 USC 241, 300w. 42 USC 255. INCREASING MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH SERVICES (HEALTH SERVICES) To increase the availability of essential health services for disad- vantaged children and mothers, an additional $105,000,000 for "Health Services", Department of Health and Human Services, for maternal and child health grants under title V of the Social Secu- rity Act: Provided, That such funds shall be allocated as provided for under section 502(b) of the Act: Provided further. That no grant shall be made to a State unless such State offers assurances satisfactory to the Secretary that it will use such amounts in addition to rather than in lieu of existing Federal or State funds currently available for these purposes. 42 USC 701. 42 USC 702. CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL PREVENTIVE HEALTH SERVICES For an additional amount for "Preventive Health Services", $15,560,000, which shall remain available until expended and shall be for construction and renovation of facilities.
