SEC. 20. Throughout fiscal years 1985 and 1986, there shall be available for service at all times on the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts of the United States not less than, in the aggregate, thirty high and medium endurance Coast Guard cutters. COAST GUARD REPRESENTATION ON RESERVE FORCES POLICY BOARD
SEC. 21. Section 17503) of title 10, United States Code, is amended to read as follows: "(b) Whenever the Coast Guard is not operating as a service in the Navy, the Secretary of Transportation may designate two officers of the Coast Guard, Regular or Reserve, to serve as voting members of the Board.".
